What Happens After the Emmaus Weekend?
Your are invited to have a closer walk with Christ for the rest of your life; this is called the Fourth Day. Those who attend a Walk to Emmaus are encouraged to :
- Expand their own spiritual lives through worship, study, and active participation in their local church
- Become more active disciples in Christ in service to the world
To nurture this process of discipleship, the Bilings Walk to Emmaus offers specific opportunities. First, groups of four to six people meet weekly to reflect on their spiritual journey and encourage one another in accountable discipleship. These are referred to as Fourth Day Groups. If you currently do not have a group and you are interested in joining one, please contact info@billingsemmaus.com.
Second, there are Monthly Gatherings where Walk participants meet for fellowship, worship and instruction. You can find these dates on our Calendar of Events.
Third, community members are regularly informed through email and website of support needs of upcoming Walk to Emmaus weekends, and other opportunities for servant leadership. You can find more information about volunteering for a Walk weekend under our Volunteer page. If you are not receiving emails with updated information about the community and would like to be added, please contact info@billingsemmaus.com with your name and email address and we will add you to our list.
